Shawarma Wrap: Authentic Middle Eastern Shawarma and More in Yagoona NSW

My friend and I came from Wollongong and we ate shawarma. It was very delicious and the staff were kind. I highly recommend visiting it. They have different sandwiches, including meat pie, chicken shawarma, meat shawarma, and other Arabic sandwiches, including Iraqi and Lebanese.

I’ve been trying shawarma all around Sydney for the past 20 years, and only a few places ever made my “recommended” list until I discovered Shawarma Wrap in Yagoona! The place is spotless and feels like a true family-run business, husband, wife, and kids all working together. I ordered one chicken wrap and one meat wrap, no extras or changes, just to see how they serve it. The first bite instantly took me back to Syria ...... absolutely authentic! Juicy, perfectly seasoned meat, not drowned in sauces or spices. Next time I'll add pomegranate molasses for sure . I’ll definitely be coming back often, and my Sydney shawarma list just got a new number one! I also noticed in the back meat pizza or as in Syria they call it Safayeh, will definitely try it next time.

The food was so amazing, will it require improvements? It do. The meat shawarma was good without too much toppings, recommended to be tried only with garlic and probably pickles or onions for better taste. The chicken shawarma needs improvements which is chicken needs to be cooked furthermore, as tasted unpleasant taste. They have variety of amazing foods especially the Jordanian mansaf, which haven't tried yet and will do soon. Hi, I ordered the shawarma mixed meal and a chicken wrap, tasty and fresh ingredients, shawarma is authentic. The only comment I have is regarding Saj bread that wraps the sandwiches, I assume a grill is used to char the wraps in the final stage where a weird fat/butter burn smell is obvious. Wow 10/10 ! The food was absolutely superb! The staff were so welcoming, every bite of the food was delicious and full of flavour! I got the chicken and beef wrap in a meal and it came with pickles and coleslaw on the side and a drink ! And they provide sauces of your choice ! New Favourite Take away shop !

The shawarma is super fresh! Made right in front of you, and the meat is not dry at all. It’s super juicy, made Syrian style, super authentic and yummy.

The food is the best — warm and full of flavor! It’s in Yagoona, and you should really try it. The staff are friendly, the place feels safe, and the shawarma was absolutely delicious. This is my second time coming here, and it’s just as good as the first!
